TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM

1. Choke OPEN
Move Choke Lever to CLOSED
2. Out of fuel
Refuel
3. Bad fuel; engine stored without
treating or draining gasoline, or
refueled with bad gasoline
Drain fuel from fuel tank and
carburetor. Refuel with fresh
gasoline
4. Spark plug faulty, fouled, or
improperly gapped
Remove and inspect spark
plug. Clean, gap, or replace
5. Spark plug wet with fuel (flooded
engine)
Remove and inspect spark
plug. Dry and reinstall spark
plug.
6. Carburetor malfunction, ignition
malfunction, valves stuck, etc.
Take vehicle to a qualified
mechanic. Replace or
repair faulty components as
necessary

Check air filter
