6. FITTING THE POTENTIOMETER ASSEMBLY

Disconnect actuator from power supply before starting work!

Danger

6.1 Installing the potentiometer assembly

Fit the distance sleeve (4) onto the threaded end of the

connecting rod and tighten. Place the laminate washer (2) over

the threaded end onto the self-locking nut. Insert the position

detector for the potentiometer assembly (3) ensuring it engages

in the slot provided on the toothed rod.

Screw another laminate washer (2) and self-locking nut (1) onto

the threaded insert and slightly tighten the nut

.

The potentiometer assembly can then be fitted (1) and secured with the screws provided (2)
