7.5 Dosage
The measured value difference (control deviation) is converted to
a pulse-break ratio which switches the appropriate relay for
activation of the hose pump. The closer together the nominal
value and actual value are, the longer the break time. The hose
pump could even run permanently in the case of a great control
deviation. The “Overdosing” message appears if this lasts too
long (time can be set in the parameters). Hose pumps are
adapted to the size of the pool either:
•
by the size of the used dosing pump
• by the hose diameter (see the manufacturer’s recommended
values)
• by the speed (for higher quality hose pumps)
7.6 Redox value
The display on the user interface shows the redox actual value.
The redox value should be between 650 mV and 770 mV. The
value enables you to determine whether the pool water is in a
hygienic or critical condition. It indicates the ratio of the oxidant
substances (percentage of disinfectant) to the substances with a
reducing effect (organic impurities) in the water.
If a dot is displayed next to the actual value, this means that the
dosing pump is active and that chlorine is added to the dose.
The disinfection can be controlled by the button. The current
redox value is indicated in mV. The nominal redox value can also
be pre-set here in mV. The last calibration is also displayed.
