1.5 Important Note
Always ensure that the sensor grille located on the front of the unit is un-
obstructed and open to the atmosphere. A quick instrument check can be
performed by breathing directly into the sensor grille. This will cause the
indicated CO
2
level to increase and may cause the instrument to alarm.

1.6 Cleaning
Keep the unit clean by wiping with a soft cloth dampened with a mild
detergent solution.
1.7 Sunlight
The unit should not be left out in direct sunlight, or in other areas where
excessive heat exists, for long periods since component damage due to
overheating may result.
1.8 Servicing
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the CO
2
Monitor.
Unauthorized disassembly of the unit will invalidate the warranty.
