Installation
WITHOUT
Top Tether
“REAR ENTRY” Belt Routing
The “REAR ENTRY” belt routing is used to secure the Toddler Car Seat
(WITH Harness) when installed
WITHOUT
the Top Tether. The LATCH
lower anchor belt and vehicle seat belts are routed through the “REAR
ENTRY” belt path in the same way.

WITH
Top Tether
The “FRONT ENTRY” belt routing, must
be used when the Top Tether is used to
secure this Car Seat.
Based on the seating location selected,
identify if LATCH, vehicle Lap/Shoulder
or vehicle Lap Belt only will be used
to secure the Car Seat. Use the
LATCH system when available.
Follow the steps in the following
sections for the type of belt that
will be used to secure the Car Seat.
The Top Tether must be secured and tensioned properly when using
the “front entry” belt routing.

• From the rear of the car seat, insert
the LATCH connector or the vehicle
seat belt latch plate into the Belt Path
Opening in the Back Support

• Pull the LATCH or vehicle seat belt
through the Belt Path Opening and
across the front of Back Support to
the Belt Path Opening on the op-
posite side

• From the front of the Back Support, insert the LATCH connector or
the vehicle seat belt latch plate into the Belt Path Opening in the
Back Support and pull the LATCH or vehicle seat belt through
