5. Install the insulation plate in the bottom of the cooking tank.
Place the bottle in the middle of the tank, on the insulation plate.
Warning: Never place a bottle or jar directly in the tank without
using the insulation plate. The bottle is liable to be damaged.
6. Place the hood over the appliance. Warning: the hood does
not have any locking system, do not remove it while the
appliance is in operation.
7. Turn the control button
. Then press the "On/Off" button
.
8. The indicator lamp lights up and the bottle heating cycle
starts. Warning: during the heating cycle steam will come out
of the opening on the hood. Keep your hands well away to
avoid getting scalded.
9. When the heating cycle has finished, there will be a beep to
tell you the bottle is ready. The appliance stops automatically.
Note: you can stop the heating cycle at any time by pressing
once on the "On/Off" button
.
10. Remove the hood using the top handle. Warning: the hood
gets very hot. Handle with care.
11. Remove the bottle immediately to avoid further heating by the
hot appliance. The bottle may be very hot, wait for it to cool
before handling. Warning: always shake the bottle and check
the temperature before giving it to your baby.
NOTE :
The bottles are heated by the steam heating the liquid in
them. The material and thickness of the bottle, the presence
of a detachable bottom, and the size of a small jar are points
that can affect the temperature of the contents. If the
bottles/jars are too hot, reduce the quantity of liquid in the
measuring tube. Avoid leaving the bottle in the tank when the
heating cycle is over. The heat remaining in the appliance
will continue heating the bottle.
N.B.: to avoid all risks of burns, always check the food’s
temperature before giving it to your baby. For a bottle shake
it well before mixing the milk. Pour a drop on the inside of your
wrist to check its temperature.
Leave the appliance to cool for at least 15 MINUTES between
each use.

Sterilizing a bottle:
1. Check that the appliance's voltage rating is the same as that
of the mains power supply. If so, you can safely connect
the appliance.
2. Remove the cooking juices container, the cooking basket and
the hood from the appliance.
3. Leave the insulation plate in the bottom of the tank.
4. Remove the mixing bowl and fill it with 90ml water.
5. Pour the water into the bottom of the tank.
6. Place the clean bottle (with no traces of milk in it) upside down
in the bottom of the tank. Put the retaining ring and teat in the
tank beside the bottle.
7. Replace the hood.
8. Turn the control button to the
position. Press the "On/Off"
button
.
9. The lamp lights up and the sterilization cycle starts. Warning:
during the heating cycle steam will come out of the opening on
the hood. Keep your hands well away to avoid getting scalded.
10. When the sterilization cycle has finished, there will be a beep
to tell you the bottle is ready, and the appliance stops
automatically. Note: you can stop the sterilizing cycle at any
time by pressing once on the "On/Off" button.
11. Remove the hood using the top handle. Warning: the hood
gets very hot. Handle with care.
12. You can now take out the sterilized bottle and accessories.
Warning: the bottle is hot.

Cleaning your Bébédélice:
- Always unplug your Bébédélice and make sure it is cold before
cleaning it.
- Bébédélice tank: wipe the heating element in the bottom of the
tank with a damp cloth or sponge. Use nothing but clean
water. Leave to dry. Do not immerse the Bébédélice in water
or any other liquid. Do not wash the Bébédélice under running
water. Do not use any cleaning product, just water.
- The measuring tube, container, insulation plate, hood, blades
and mixing lid can be cleaned with a sponge, hot water and
a little mild liquid detergent. Rinse with water and leave to dry.
they can also be placed in the dishwasher.
- Never use any abrasive produces or cleaning solvents to clean
the appliance. They may damage the appliance and its surfaces.
- Removing the blades. WARNING: do not forget parts 1,2 and 3
when reassembling the blades in order to avoid any risk of
overheating (see diagram below).
