BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
1. This device contains a lithium ion battery.
2. Batteries are not to be removed by the consumer unless instructed by the
manufacturer.
3. Since batteries are sensitive to high temperatures, when storing them, keep the
device in a cool dry place.
4. Never put batteries into a fire.
5. Switch off devices after use.
6. Keep batteries away from children, especially the batteries that are small
enough to ingest.
7. If battery is ingested, immediately seek medical attention. The National
Battery Ingestion Hotline is available anytime at (202) 625-3333 (call collect if
necessary) or call your poison center at (800) 222-1222.
8. Never open, crush, puncture or disassemble batteries.
9. Dispose of batteries according to any State and Local regulations.
10. Do not dispose of rechargeable batteries as solid waste.
RECYCLABLE BATTERIES
Lithium Ion batteries contain various materials that must be recycled and disposed
of properly. Do not dispose of in the municipal waste system.
Under various state and local laws, it is illegal to dispose of this battery in the
municipal waste stream. The EPA-certified RBRC™ battery recycling seal on the
Lithium Ion batteries indicates Conair is voluntarily participating in an industry
program to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of their useful life,
when taken out of service in the United States or Canada. The RBRC™ program
provides a convenient alternative to placing the used Lithium Ion batteries in the
trash or the municipal waste stream, which may be illegal in your area. Please call

To maintain optimum performance, the appliance should be cleaned after each use:
• Remove the comb guide - the comb guides can be rinsed under running water.
Please make sure they are dried thoroughly before storage or further use.
• Using the cleaning brush, brush and blow away any remaining hair from the
blades.
• Do not disassemble the blades.
DISPOSAL OF LITHIUM ION BATTERY
This clipper has a lithium ion battery. To protect the environment, this battery
should be removed and properly disposed of when the unit is no longer operating.
To remove the battery block for disposal or recovery, follow these instructions:
1. First, unplug the clipper.
2. Open the clipper and remove the batteries using wire cutters.
3. To protect the environment, do not dispose of the battery with your ordinary
household waste.
