CARE OF yOUR TRIMMER
REPLACEMENT (REMOVAL) OF BAB841C BLADE SET
To remove blade set from your trimmer, make sure the
trimmer is in the off position. Remove the blade set by
placing thumb against the smaller cutter and pushing
forward, releasing the cutter from the trimmer housing.
Replace with new cutting system and reverse the removal
procedure, only this time place your thumb on the large
cutter and snap into place.
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
1. If the trimmer is not used for extended periods, charge every 3 months.
2. If the trimmer is used on a regular basis, discharge the battery every 3
months by allowing the battery to fully run down. Once this procedure is
complete, charge fully for 16 hours.
3. Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above
40°C (104°F).
4. Avoid charging the battery in direct sunlight or near a radiating heat supply.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NIMH RECHARGEABLE
BATTERy CONTAINED WITHIN THIS APPLIANCE.
Before charging the appliance for the first time, charge continuously for 16
hours. Maximum battery capacity will only be reached after several charging
/ discharging cycles.
Preserving the battery:
In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable battery, the
appliance should be recharged for 16 hours every 3 months approximately.
NOTE:
Never pull on the charging stand cord. Lay it flat with the cord coiled
up when not in use.
CONTAINS NIMH BATTERy. BATTERy MUST BE RECyCLED OR DISPOSED
OF PROPERLy.
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BUILT-IN RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Remove comb and blade assembly. Remove the on/
off button. Turn the unit upside down and remove one
silver screw near the charging pins. Using a flat edge
screwdriver gently push up from the charging pin area.
This will release the motor frame from the housing.
Gently pull out battery from the motor frame. Replace
with new battery (‘+’ terminal towards the
motor side). Reverse the above process to
reassemble the trimmer.
