• If the unit remains unused for
longer than about 72 minutes,
the auto shut-off will turn the
unit off; this option increases the
life of the barrels and provides
greater safety.
WARNING
The barrels become very hot in a
few seconds and should not touch
the skin once the unit is plugged
in. The tongs become very hot
when it is set to the maximum
temperature. Always test on a sec-
tion of hair to check that the set-
ting is right for your hair.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before removing any hair-
product residues left on the wand:
• Check that the iron is turned off
and unplugged and that it has
cooled.
• Clean the iron using a damp cloth
and non-corrosive detergent or
soap. Before using again, check
that the appliance is dry.
