Warning: 

If the LED display shows the words ‘Hi’ or ‘Low’, immediately 

check if the adaptor mentions the reference ‘CA78’. If the ‘Er’ symbol 

is displayed on the screen,stop charging immediately and contact our 

Customer Care Centre for further advise (see the ‘After Sales Service’ 
section of the information booklet).

Mains Operation

•  Ensure the appliance is switched off. 

•  Connect the adaptor to the base of the appliance and plug the 

adaptor into a suitable mains socket. 

•  The appliance is now ready for use. 

•  

NOTE: 

The appliance should not be used for longer than 20 minutes 

when operated from the mains.

Cordless Operation

•  Insert the adaptor into the base of the appliance, plug into a suitable 

mains socket and switch on. The LED screen will then display the 

autonomy and the symbol ‘ ’ will begin to flash, indicating that the 

unit is charging.

•  Fully charged, the appliance can be used for at least 160 minutes. 

•  When LED display has less than 5 minutes left, the time symbol ‘

’ indication will change to red and flash. warning you there is 

approximately 5 minutes left of battery use remaining.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE APPLIANCE 

To lock the appliance, keep the switch pressed until the 3-sec ond 

countdown is fully lit. The symbol will then flash, in dicating that the 

appliance is locked. 

To unlock the appliance, keep the switch pressed until the 3-second 

countdown is fully lit. The appliance is switched on and the LED screen 

displays the height of the tuning thumb wheel.
