Foot Pedal Test
The Foot Pedal test can help you determine if there is a
problem with the Baby Lock Tiara III foot pedal. As you
slowly depress the foot pedal a percent of depression
will appear in the white box. The foot pedal should be
controllable from 0 to 100% (Figure 44).
Press the Main button to return to the Main menu
screen or the Back button to return to the More menu
screen.

Tension
The Tension button on the Diagnostics menu enables
you to calibrate the tension device. You should only
calibrate the tension device under the direction of your
authorized Baby Lock retailer (Figure 45).
While calibrating the tension, you will be asked to do the
following:
1� Remove the tension knob.
2� Gently press the spring against the tension discs
while not compressing the spring.
3� While holding the spring in place, press Reset.
4� When calibration is complete, replace the tension
knob.
