• Uninstalling the Isoclick Fix
®
system
1. To free the Isoclick Fix
®
anchoring, pull the Isoclick Fix system unlock
buttons,
(P)
in order to free the seat from the vehicle ISOFIX anchoring
system(fig. 4.5).
4.2 Fastening the seat with the vehicle’s belt in a rearward-facing
installation. Group 0+/1.
1. Make sure the 5-point harness of the safety seat has been correctly
installed (see section 3).
2. Follow the steps described in section 3.8
3. Recline the seat fully. Pull the lever
(I)
forward and adjust the angle of
recline to position 4 without releasing the lever. Release the lever when
the seat is in the desired position (fig. 4.6).
4. Place the seat in the back seat of the vehicle in opposite direction of
travel.
5. Take out the reducer cushion
(D)
. Pass the abdominal strap of the seat
belt through the lower seat guides
(J)
and underneath the seat. Buckle
the vehicle seat belt until you hear a click (fig. 4.8).
6. Pass the abdominal strap of the seat through the upper guide
(L)
as
shown.
7. Take up the remaining slack of the diagonal section of the 3-point seat
belt. and make sure it is as tight fitting as possible. Ensure the straps are
not twisted or knotted at any point.
8. Place the reducer cushion
(D)
in his original place.
4.3 Fastening the child in the seat. Group 0+/1
1. Release the harness buckle
(F)
(fig. 4.10).
2. Press the harness adjuster button
(G)
while pulling the part of the harness
straps
(E)
that cross the chest in order to loosen them. Do not pull the
shoulder protectors.
3. Place the child in the safety seat.
4. Make sure the child’s back rests firmly against the back of the safety seat.
5. Bring the two clasps together and join them before inserting them into the
harness buckle
(F)
. You should hear a click (fig. 4.11).
6. Pull the harness adjustment strap
(H)
in order to tighten and adjust it
correctly to the child’s body (fig. 4.12).
TIP: The more snugly the harness fits over the child’s body, the better the child
will be protected. therefore avoid putting thick clothes on your child under
the belt.
IMPORTANT! The part of the harness straps that crosses the abdomen should
be placed as low as possible on the child’s hip.
7. Pull down on the shoulder protectors
(C)
to ensure they are properly in
place.
For the safety of the child the following checks should be made before every
trip:
The safety seat is firmly installed in the vehicle.
• The straps are not twisted.
• The safety seat straps are firmly fastened around the child’s body, without
squashing it.
• The shoulder straps

are correctly adjusted and not twisted.
• The shoulder protectors
(C)
are on a level with the child’s shoulders.
• The clasps are correctly inserted into the belt buckle
(F)
.
5. CAR SEAT FORWARD-FACING INSTALLATION. GROUP 1

Once the car seat is installed, if another recline position is
selected, you should repeat the car seat installation steps described below to
ensure a proper installation s in this new position.
NOTICE:
This car seat offers different installation options (installation table,
chapter 2) WITH or WITHOUT Isoclick Fix
®
connectors.
• For a car seat installation using Isoclick Fix
®
connectors and vehicle’s belt,
please start from section 5.1.
• For a car seat installation using only the vehicle´s belt, please start from
section 5.2.
5.1 Connecting the Isoclick Fix® arms in forward-facing installation
(optional)
1. Pull the lever
(I)
forward and adjust the angle of recline to position 1, 2,
or 3 without releasing the lever. Release the lever when the seat is in the
desired position (fig. 5.3).
2. Make sure the Isoclick Fix
®
arms
(O)
are displayed to install the car seat
forward facing (group 1/2/3) (fig. 5.2).
3. Place the seat in the back seat of the vehicle in the direction of travel.
