- Reverse (Only applied to the Babboe Max-E)

Press the minus button and hold for 2 seconds or longer after the display is in the power-on state will activate the
walk-assist reverse function no matter which mode it was in before. Then it will show the ECO mode light on and
the speed is locked at 6 km/hour. When the minus button is released, the reverse walk-assist function will stop.
Please be aware that if you go backwards the pedals will turn backwards to.

NOTICE

1) If the plus button is stuck while riding, no matter which mode you were in, this will force the Babboe-E cargo

bike into the walk-assist function until the display is turned off.

2) While entering in mode 8 with the Babboe Max-E, it will automatically return to mode 7 after 30 seconds, if not

changed back by the user. The user must then wait the same duration up to 30 seconds before going back into
mode 8. This isn’t the case for the Babboe three-wheel and two-wheel cargo bike system, it is free to go back and
forth between mode 8 and mode 7 for any amount of time.

• Light switch

Turn on the front and rear lights by pressing the power button for 1 second when the display is turned on. After
the light is turned on, the upper left corner of the screen will light up the headlights icon:

km-/mijlinstelling

Gebruik de volgende stappen om de km/mijl-instelling in

2. Selecteer de kilometertellerweergave in de functie-

weergave.

3. Druk gelijktijdig op de schakelaar hulpmodus (omhoog)

en de schakelaar hulpmodus (omlaag) en houd deze

gedurende 2 seconden of langer ingedrukt.

4. Wanneer „km” of „mile” knippert, laat de schakelaar

dan los.

5. Gebruik de hulpmodusschakelaars (omhoog en om-

laag) om „km/mile” in te stellen.

6. Wanneer de eenheid die u wilt instellen knippert, drukt

u op de Schakelaar hulpmodus (omlaag) gedurende 1

seconde of langer en u laat de schakelaar los wanneer

het display terugschakelt naar het hoofddisplay dat

wordt weergegeven tijdens het rijden.

Voor alle instellingsprocedures, moet u de fiets tot

stilstand laten komen en de vereiste instellingen uit-

voeren op een veilige plek. Anders kan een gebrek

aan aandacht voor omringend verkeer of ander gevaar

een ongeluk veroorzaken.

OPMERKING

• De instellingen kunnen niet worden aangepast tijdens

het rijden.

• Als u het volgende doet tijdens het instellen, zal de

eenheid die u aan het instellen was worden geannu-

leerd en het display zal terugkeren naar het hoofddis-

play dat tijdens het rijden wordt weergegeven.

Turn off the light by pressing the power button for 1 second.

• All adjustment settings should not be carried out while riding. Please park your Babboe-E cargo bike safely

before changing the settings.

•  If the LED light is not supported by the motor power the front and rear lights can be lit continuously for
  90 minutes.
•  Any internal software voltage setup will affect the light duration and require multiple tests to measure out the

minimized light duration.

• When the power button is stuck due to mechanical problems or the circuit is abnormal, the system will enter

into sleeping mode and the display is turned off. In this case, even if the display is replaced with new one
immediately, the system will not be turned on. If this happens, try to remove the battery for at least 15 minutes
to release residual power in the controller before putting it back in.

• If the button gets stuck while riding, regardless of the mode, the system will be forced into the walk-assist

function. No safety issue will be caused by this situation.

• Battery capacity indicator

On the display unit the battery capacity indicaton is shown as a percentage. When the battery lever is under 20%,
the battery symbol will start to flash without any value on it. The suggestion is then to use a low power mode to
keep moving before the motor shuts down in order to have some assisting power to ride back home.

- TIME

The current cycling time on this trip.

- Odometer

Shows the total distance traveled by the e-bike since manufacturing.

- Trip Distance

It shows the distance traveled for the current trip.

• Settings menu

When the system is turned on, holding down the ‘SET’ button for over 3 seconds will enter the settings menu.
Once inside, there are 2 options, SET 1 and SET 2. Pressing the ‘SET’ button will switch between them. To exit the
setting menu, press and hold the ‘SET’ button for over 2 seconds.

- Reset Trip Distance

Clearing the current trip distance can be done by press and holding the
SET button for over 2 seconds while in SET 1, once the SET and mode
on the screen flashes, press the minus button to clear the trip distance.

- Metric or Imperial Selection

Option Set 2 is to change the units between metric (km/h) and imperial
(mph), pressing either the plus of minus buttons will alternate between
the 2 settings. Once the desired units are selected, press ‘SET’ to save
the setting.

NOTICE

If the SET button is stuck or damaged, the display can still be activated. After turning on the display the screen
will be switching back and forth between the main screen and SET mode, even while riding. It will not cause any
safety concerns while riding. If the SET button gets stuck while turning on the system, the power mode will not
be able to be set. If the SET button gets stuck while riding, the set mode is kept but will be unable to switch to any
other mode. Any button issues, please call the dealer for further assistance.

• Assist mode switch

Tap the plus or minus button to choose the power mode you would like when you are ready to ride. plus is to
increase the power mode while the minus button is to decrease the power mode.

• Walk-assist switch

- Forward

Press the plus button and hold for 2 seconds or longer after the display is in the
power-on state will activate the walk-assist forward function no matter which mode
it was in before. Then it will show the ECO mode light on the screen and the speed is
locked at 6 km/h. When the plus button is released, the forward walk-assist function will stop.
