STEP 7 

Mounting the steering rod

1. The handlebars are operated by means of a steering rod extending from 

point B to point A. This rod will already be fitted with nuts and bolts.

2. Unscrew the bolts. Position the steering rod according to the picture (at 

the B location) into the central hole (see p. 30 for adjusting options). Refasten 

the bolts using the open end of spanner #13 and the closed end of 

spanner #11. Grab the bolt with the #11 spanner just below the ball joint. 

Parts and tools required:

- Open-ended spanner #11

3. Now straighten the handlebars in the correct position in relation to the 

front wheel.
