Using your service provider's instructions, have a friend manually point the dish antenna at the
correct place in the sky while you check the Signal Quality indicator. Adjust the antenna until the
highest percentage signal is indicated on the Signal Quality indicator. The Signal Quality per-
centage on the indicator bar should be at least 20%.

4.

Verify that the satellite Network and Orbital Position fields match the satellite service provider’s
instructions.

5.

When you obtain the maximum percentage Signal Quality, fix the position of the antenna and
click OK. Exit Setup4PC.

You are ready to establish TV and data services.

Setting Up Data Service

Configuring the Uplink

The path by which your computer requests digital information from the Internet is called the uplink.
Your uplink to the Internet may be via dialup modem, ISDN, or LAN. Obtain uplink setup instructions
from your ISP.

For a typical data services setup, use the Connections dialog on your Internet Explorer browser to enter
uplink settings:
