Assembled, typically on a skid. The overload stops have been already adjusted tight
against the spider assembly at the factory for shipping purposes. These will need
adjusted to allow approximately a 1/4” gap (dependent upon capacity) between the top
of the bolt head and bottom of spider tubes. To adjust the overload stops loosen the
jam nut against the corner plate and then turn bolt head to proper distance. Retighten
the jam nut to prevent the overload stops from moving. If the spider tubes “bottom out”
against any overload stops with a load equal to or less than the maximum capacity, re-
adjust the overload stops.
Place the platter over the spider assembly after all adjustments have been made.
