2.2. Indications
The provision of a walking aid is suitable for people with limited muscle
strength and/or balance.
2.3. Contraindications
The provision of a walking aid is unsuitable for people with:
•
Joint damage / joint contractures
•
Perceptual disorders
•
severe balance disorders
•
reduced and insufficient vision
•
severe limitations of cognitive abilities
2.4. Declaration of conformity
We as Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH declare under our sole responsibility
that the walking aid VFG complies with all requirements of MDR
2017/745 that are applicable.
2.5. Responsibility
We shall only provide a warranty if
•
the product is used under the specified conditions and for the
intended purpose,
•
modifications, extensions, repairs and maintenance work are only
carried out by persons who have been authorised by us to do so,
and
•
the walking aid is used in compliance with all instructions for use.
2.6. Useful life
The expected product life is up to four years. The prerequisites for
this are the intended use as well as compliance with the safety, care
and maintenance instructions in accordance with these operating
instructions.
3. Purpose
The walking aid is designed exclusively to support adults with limited
mobility. people with the indications (see chapter 2.2 and 2.3). The
walking aid can be used on level ground indoors and outdoors. The
maximum user weight of 100 kg must not be exceeded. Please note:
We can only provide a warranty if the product is used under the
specified conditions and for the intended purposes.
4. Product and delivery overview
4.1. Delivery Inspection
All products of Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH are subjected to a proper
final inspection in our company and provided with the CE mark (see
chapter 4.4).
The walking aid is delivered in a cardboard box. After unpacking, keep
the carton if possible. It is used for possible later storage or return of
the product.
Delivery and instruction are usually carried out by qualified medical
supply retailers.
In the case of shipment by rail or forwarding agent, the goods must
be checked immediately for transport damage in the presence of the
deliverer.
Check the contents for completeness (see chapter 4.2) and intactness.

will find the contact details on the back of these operating instructions.
4.2. Scope of delivery
Your new Bischoff & Bischoff walking frame is delivered fully assembled
in a Bischoff & Bischoff original cardboard box.
After receiving the goods, please immediately check the contents for
completeness. The contents consist of:

Repackaging,
•
Walking aid (pre-assembled)
