1. INTENDED
USE
The height adjustable Extra Wide Mowbray toilet frame and seat has been designed to assist those who have
di
ffi
culty in lowering onto or rising from a standard toilet. The comfortable plastic moulded seat o
ff
ers support in a
natural position. An optional
fl
oor
fi
xing kit is also available (F11572).
2. SAFETY
WARNING:
The maximum user weight must not be more
than 254Kg (40st).
DO NOT:
Attempt to stand or climb on the product.
MAKE SURE:
All legs are set at equal height to avoid
rocking.
2.1 Floor Fixing Safety
It is recommended that a suitably quali
fi
ed, competent
person installs this product.
Always check for concealed electrical cables and water
pipes when installing; also check your legal requirements
relating to earth bonding of extraneous metal parts.
Inspect the product at regular intervals for wear and
damage.
CAUTION:
Never drill through pre-stressed concrete.
CAUTION:
Use appropriate sized rawl plugs if this
product is being
fi
tted onto a concrete
fl
oor.
3. UNPACKING
Remove the packaging and check all parts carefully.
Contact your supplier immediately if parts are missing or
damaged and do not try and assemble.

4. ASSEMBLY
These products are supplied fully assembled apart from
the seat.
4.1 Fit the Seat
Remove the seat from the bag and snap into place on the
centre bars of the frame.
5. INSTALLATION
Adjust the height for the toilet and user before installation.
Only instal the product in an area where the mounting
surface and substrate are structurally sound.
Strengthening modi
fi
cations to the
fi
xing surface may be
required.
Also check the type of substrate you intend to
fi
x it to
e.g. brick/block, timber or concrete. Always check that
the type of
fi
xing you are going to use is compatible with
the substrate.
Note:
As the substrate can vary considerably, we cannot
recommend any particular
fi
xings; if in any doubt; consult
a reputable
fi
xings supplier for advice.
5.1 Adjust the Height
1. Remove the 4 x leg extension E-clips.
2. Slide the leg extensions to the required height, align
the holes and replace the E-clips.
Note:
Make sure the leg extensions have all been set to
the same height.
3. Lift the toilet seat and lid.
