4. Installation of the keyboard
The new keyboard as all other Bluetooth® devices has to be coupled with the
computer or the smartphone. We describe this procedure in the following for the
most common operating systems.
Please also refer to the manual of your device and/or operating system concerning
the usage of the Bluetooth® devices. Depending on the used operating system and
the keyboard layout you might need to explicitly select this layout.
Windows XP and Windows Vista
t Insert the batteries into the keyboard
t Switch on the keyboard
t Press the “connect” button on the back of the keyboard

The LED is fl ashing blue

The keyboard is prepared for the connection
t Open the control panel:

Windows XP: Start Settings à Control panel
` Windows Vista: Start Control panel
t Click to ‘Add device’
` The search is starting automatically
t Select the Bluetooth® keyboard
t Click to ‘Continue’
t A code for the coupling is shown
t Type this code on the keyboard and press ‘Enter’ in the end

The Bluetooth® keyboard is now paired
t Close the assistant by clicking to ‘Close’
All keys should be working correctly right away, if the new layout is identical
to the old one.
