16 PERFORMANCE TESTING
Frequency of performance testing and inspection:
1. Daily
Safety valve Check the safety
valve for correct
operation by
pulling on the red
knob.
The safety valve is set to the maximum
allowable pressure of the pressure tank. It is
not permitted to adjust the safety valve or
remove its seal.
Drain valve Check for any
visible problem .
It is necessary to clean this drain valve and
remove dust and dirt.
2. Weekly
Pressure tank Check for any
visible problem.
A pressure tank may not be operated if it has
defects that pose a risk to employees or third
persons.
The pressure tank should be regularly
checked for damage, such as rust.
If you discover damage, please contact the
customer service centre.
3. Monthly
Intake filter This filter should be cleaned at
least every 100 operating
hours.
The filter can be appropriately
removed.
