AMI BIOS Setup Utility

Boot Menu

 

 
The Boot menu allows users to change boot options of the system. 
 

 

 

 

Setup Prompt Timeout 

Number  of  seconds  to  wait  for  setup  activation  key.  65535(0xFFFF)  means  indefinite 
waiting. 

 

 

Bootup NumLock State 

Use this item to select the power-on state for the NumLock. The default setting is on. 

 

 

Quiet Boot 

Use this item to enable or disable the Quite Boot state. The default setting is disabling. 

 

 

GateA20 Active 

If  Upon  Request  is  selected,  GA20  can  be  disabled  using  BIOS  services.  If  Always  is 
selected, disabling G20 is not allowed; this option is useful when any RT code is executed 
above 1MB.
