Fan is needed for cooling down CPU temperature. The CPU fan interface is available
through FAN1.

SATA Connectors (SATA1~SATA4)

The Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (Serial ATA or SATA) connector is
computer bus interface for connecting to devices such as hard disk drive.
