OPERATION
WARNING!
Always make sure that the appliance is switched off and the plug is removed
before making any adjustments or maintenance procedures. It is recommended to wear
safety gloves when handling the blade.
Installing the blade
1.
Turn the appliance upside so you can access the saw
blade.
2.
Using your thumb and forefinger, push down the blade
changing catch.
3.
Slide the “U” or “T” type blade into the locating hole
with the teeth pointing forward, ensuring that the
blade rear edge is located and supported by the blade
roller guide.
4.
Release the blade changing catch to lock the blade in
position and slightly pull the blade to ensure that it is
fully locked in position and also that the blade catch
has fully engaged.
5.
Plug in the appliance and run it under no-load to check that it runs smoothly before
using it to cut the actual workpiece.
NOTE!
If the blade is difficult to release, lightly tap the end of the blade with a hammer or
similar. This will free the blade which can then be released as before, using the blade
changing catch.
