2. INSTALLATION & CONNECTION
2.1 Install the camera
STEP1: There are two cabling methods for ceiling-mounted installation:
a) Hide the cable behind the ceiling, such as a fiber cement board, or
b) Arrange the cable along the cement ceiling.
Choose one of the them which suits your installation environment:
If a), drill a hole on the ceiling where you want to install
this camera for cabling later.
If b), Find the three pads supplied with the camera, and
align them respectively with the three screw holes on
the bottom of the camera to paste, as indicated in the
right figure.
STEP2: Remove the dome cover
by rotating it, and remove the black
shield by loosening the screws, as
indicated in the right figure.
STEP3: Attach the camera to the ceiling.
a) Place the cable through the hole drilled in STEP1.
b) Arrange the cable to walk along the ceiling.
Then, fasten the camera to the ceiling with
three screws.
Note:
Screws for installing the camera to the ceiling are optional. Please prepare
by yourself.
STEP4: Adjust the viewing angle and location of the camera.
STEP5: Replace the black shield and dome cover back to the camera.
