2.11 Sound settings
Regardless of the selected input card, press the
MENU button to go to the Sound settings menu. The
key l abel of t he sa me menu key now cha nges to
EXIT . Press the button again to exit the menu and
return to the normal operating state.
Individual menu items may be selected with the
< ITEM > keys. The selected menu item is always dis -
pla yed in t he upp er area of the di spla y. Use t he
<
VALUE > keys to change the value of the selected
menu item
Please note that for some input cards, specific
menu items precede the sound settings described
below (for example,
set phono m ode on P HON O ,
etc.).

2.11.1.1 Set balance
The set balance function allows you to shif t the
right-left balance in the range of 9.5 dB left or right
to compensate for imbalances.
