Obtaining an IP Address Automatically in Mac OS X

1.

Select the “System Preferences” in the Apple menu.

2.

In the “System Preferences” window, click on “Network”.

3.

In the “Network” window, select the “Ethernet” entry from the
“Show:” list.

4.

Click on the “Advanced...” button. The “TCP/IP” settings page
opens. Select the “Using DHCP” option from the “Configure IPv4:”
drop-down list.

5.

Click on “OK”.

The network device now automatically receives an IP address from
the FRITZ!Box.
