PREPARATION
With our car radios you usually get a bag or box with cables
and accessories. It is not necessary to connect all these cables,
most cables are packed as extra or are intended for extra
accessories such as a rear view camera or a sound amplifier.
STEP 1
If the vehicle is equipped with a car radio, first disassemble the
old radio. The easiest way is to search via Youtube for, for
example, “Volkswagen Golf 5 radio removal” or a similar
keyword.
EXPLANATION
After the old radio has been disassembled you will find an ISO
(quadlock) plug, an antenna plug, the other cables and plugs
are probably from a retro-fitted part, such as a parrot or a
reversing camera. You no longer need a parrot because our car
radios also have that function. You can connect a reversing
camera in most cases.
AVOID AN EMPTY BATTERY!
With a Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda from the year 2005-2008,
it sometimes happens that the battery drains with a new car
radio. You can certainly prevent this with our instructions. See
