Removing AVB-192 Network Cards
Before replacing one or more AVB-192 Network Cards in an E6L-112 (only) you must first remove any Option cards currently in-
stalled in Network slot 3 (either a WSG-HD Waves SoundGrid Option Card,
or
a second MADI-192 MADI Option Card, if either
are present).
Removing a WSG-HD or MADI-192 Card from an E6L-112 (Only)
To remove a WSG-HD or MADI-192 card from an E6L-112:
1
WSG-HD Only: Disconnect the short Ethernet cables that connect the WSG-HD card to the AVB-192 Network Card(s).
• In E6L-112 engines with a single AVB-192 card, disconnect the WSG-HD card from the lower AVB-192 card (slot 1/Master).
• In E6L-112 engines with two AVB-192 cards, disconnect the WSG-HD card from the lower AVB-192 card (slot 1/Master).
Then disconnect the short Ethernet cable that connects the upper AVB-192 card to the lower AVB-192 card (slot 1/Master).
• Set the cable(s) aside (to re-install later).
