Checklist for Re-imaging Your System
The following table provides a checklist of tasks that must be performed when re-imaging your
AirSpeed 5000 or AirSpeed 5500 system. Some of the tasks are contained in this guide, while others
are contained in other documents, such as the

Follow this checklist and the associated procedures closely to ensure a successful re-image.
Save your configuration settings, as described in the topic “Configurations Page” of the
AirSpeed
5000 / AirSpeed | 5500 Administrator’s Guide
or the
Management Console Online Help
.
Deactivate all active licenses on the server, using the Activation Page of the Management Console, as
described in the topic “Activation Page” of the
AirSpeed 5000 / AirSpeed | 5500 Administrator’s
Guide
or the
Management Console Online Help
.
If you have problems deactivating any active licenses, contact Customer Support.

If any of the drives are swapped or re-imaged, the information containing the licenses is
removed. Therefore, you must deactivate all active licenses before re-imaging the server.
Load the Windows 10 Pro Restore image, as described in the topic
of this upgrade guide.
Set up your AirSpeed 5000 or AirSpeed 5500 system, as described in the
Configuring the Server for
Your Network
topic in the
AirSpeed 5000 / AirSpeed | 5500 Setup Guide

Setting up your system involves the following:
•
Adjusting the date, time and time zone
•
Changing the computer name
•
Verifying your network connection
•
Assigning an IP address
•
(Optional) Creating a Windows User account
•
(Optional) Add a user as Administrator to the SQL database
Obtain and install the LSI MegaRAID Storage Manager software as described in the topic
Install the
LSI MegaRAID Storage Manager Software

(Option) Set up remote access to the AirSpeed 5000 or AirSpeed 5500 server, as described in the topic

(Required for Interplay Production and Team Modes) Configure your shared storage, as described in

(Option) If you want to disable any undesired Ethernet ports in Windows, you must do so before you
