9.8.2. Virus Database Update Schedule
On the
Schedule settings
tab you can first check/uncheck the
Enable this task
item
to simply deactivate the scheduled virus database update temporarily, and switch it
on again as the need arises.
The basic virus database update scheduling is covered within the
Update Manager
component. Within this dialog you can set up some detailed parameters of the virus
database update schedule:
Next, in the text field called
Name
there is the name assigned to this very schedule
by the program vendor (it is not possible to change this name).
Schedule running
In this section, specify the time intervals for the newly scheduled virus database
update launch. The timing can only be done by defining an exact date and time (
Run
at specific time interval ...
).
