As shown in table on page 21, when a zone is excluded the LED concerned flashes quickly. Once the
zones have been selected in this way, the system is connected by turning the key to the ON position.
(during the exit time, the LEDs of the connected zones remain ON, whereas the LEDs of the excluded
zones are OFF).
Timers
Three timers are provided for and can be adjusted by their microswitches positioned on the board, as
shown in figure 1.
1) Entrance time:
this is the interval from the opening of delayed zone A1 until the control panel ena-
bles the sirens. Using SW1 and SW2, this can be set to one of the following values: 2-15-30-60 s. (as
shown in table 1)
2) Alarm time:
this is the siren sounding time. Using SW3 and SW4, this can be set to one of the fol-
lowing values: 1-60-120-240 s. (as shown in table 2)
3) Exit time:
this is the time during which the system remains disabled upon connection. This is fixed
and is equal to 60 s; it automatically changes to 4 s. when the entrance time is set to 2 s
Note:
If the delayed line A1 is placed in alarm first, the entrance delay set is extended to all the lines.
Auxiliary functions
1)
Output for service acoustic warning device. 50mA 13.8V open-collector type output (terminal 11).
It is active as follows:
•
in intermittent mode for the entrance and exit times (pre-alarm)
•
upon connection (for the duration of the exit time), continuously if one or several lines are excluded
(zoned system condition), and/or if one or more lines are open (not ready condition).
2)
Counting the number of alarms with the control panel in service. If the number of alarms from a zone
exceeds 3, the zone itself is automatically excluded. Analogously, if the overall number of alarms from
all the zones exceeds 8, all the zones are excluded. The count is increased every time there is an alarm
signal from the self-powered siren and is zeroed every time the system is disconnected.
3)
Monitoring the power supply system. A control circuit signals the flat battery, and blown fuse condi-
tions in the following way:
•
In disconnected mode: alternate flashing of the LEDs on the point of acti flashing of all the
zone and tamper LEDs on the control panel until the battery voltage is restored and / or the fuses have
