POWER SUPPLY UNIT
The power supply unit inside the control panel has two outputs:
• Output for the system power supply and the internal battery recharge, 13.8 Vdc (terminal 1).
• Output for recharging the self-powered siren battery 14.5 Vdc (terminal 12)
The power supply unit output is electronically protected against overloads; The total current at the two
outputs must not exceed the maximum value of 800mA. Three protection fuses are also provided for and
seated on the board. One more fuse is also seated on the terminal board:
• Mains fuse Fu0 – 250 mA on the connection terminal board 230 Vac + thermal fuse 100°C
• Fuse Fu1 - 0.5A - to protect against battery inversion
• Fuse Fu2 - 0.5A - to protect the siren circuit
• Fuse Fu3 - 1A – to protect the system (detectors)
To make the total rating calculation easier, refer to the following table:
Note: To assure the 24h-endurance of the system in the case of mains failure, it is neces-
sary not to exceed the maximum rating value equal to 270 mA. (with 6.5 Ah batteries).
OPERATING DESCRIPTION
Mechanical key and exclusion zone pushbuttons
As shown in Fig. 1 the control panel is equipped with a mechanical key with 10,000 combinations /2
positions:
•
ON
for the control panel in service
•
OFF
for the control panel at rest
The key can be taken out in both positions. The control panel can be connected with all the zones active
or in a zoned mode by excluding some of them. When the key is in the OFF position, zones can be selec-
Ref. No.
