WAP 9112 Installation
NN47252-304 Issue 01.01
Provisioning and Management
WAP 9112 wireless APs are managed by the Avaya Wireless LAN Orchestration System (WOS). WAP 9112s are not
managed directly via CLI or Web Management Interface. WOS can automatically detect and provision new WAPs
deployed in your network—create and configure a default profile in WOS for newly added APs, and set up
discovery for the APs’ network. Once an installed AP has Internet connectivity, it will automatically contact WOS
for provisioning per your settings, and upgrade the AP to the latest software version as appropriate.
Manual Reset
If you need to manually reset the WAP 9112, the RESET button is located above the Pass-through port. Use a paper
clip to depress and hold the reset button (there should be a faint click). There are three actions that the WAP 9112
can perform depending on how long the button is held down:
2 second hold time—LED test: all LEDs light for ten seconds.
4 second hold time—”Soft reset”: WAP 9112 reboots and uses the last saved configuration.
10 second hold time—Factory reset: WAP 9112 reboots and restores the factory default settings.
