Zero-Touch Provisioning and Ongoing Management
Most customers employ the Wireless LAN Orchestration System (WOS) for the initial setup and
continuing management of Avaya devices. WOS users can readily set up their new devices for
zero-touch provisioning and ongoing maintenance via the following platforms. Wait five
minutes after powering up the WAP to automatically discover it, then use WOS via DNS (if a
DNS entry for Avaya-WOS is provisioned in the network) or perform manual discover from
WOS. Newly discovered WAPs are automatically assigned to the WOS “default” profile, and
will receive the configuration defined for that profile.
