6.0 CONFIGURING THE MESSAGE APPLICATION SERVER 

Configuring the MAS 

Configuring the MAS platform for proper PBX integration requires configuring 

several menus accessed within the Voice Mail System Configuration application, and 

a certified MM engineer.

 Access 

the 

Voice Mail System Configuration

 application from the 

MAS program group. 

 

 

The example number shown above in 

blue

 is incorrect. Change this from 

000F 01

 to 

000F 00

.

  

Save then file and then reboot the MAS.  

Special Note

:  Verify the CRC value in the QTE.PRM is set correctly.  If left uncorrected the Dialogic E1 boards 

will not initialize properly. 

The file is found in: 

C:\Program Files\Dialogic\data\

qte.prm

 

 

Open the 

qte.prm

 file. About 23 lines into the file text you will see a setting under the line as show in bold below.
