MUTING A CALL 

Press the 

Mute

 button during a call so that the other person cannot hear you. When the Mute icon 

is displayed, the call is muted. 
 
Press the 

Mute

 button again to unmute the call.    The Mute icon disappears. 

 
If a call is on mute and you switch between the handset, headset, or speakerphone, mute will be 
turned off.
