Correct use
For your safety, follow the instructions and recommendations regarding correct use of the winch. This forestry
and recovery winch is intended only for pulling of loads. Never use the winch for lifting purposes.
WARNING
Operate the winch only from the driver’s seat -
Risk of impact from wire rope.
The
safety net must be installed to protect the operator's station in case wire rope breaks
loose.
WARNING
Pull load only from directly ahead of the winch - Risk of tipping over.
Pulling from
the sides will affect the stability of the loader. Pulling sideways may cause the wire rope
to come off from the reel or damage the wire rope.
6.3.1
To pull wire rope from the winch
1.
Lock the auxiliary hydraulics control lever to its locking
position.
This will release the winch so that you can pull wire rope,
when the loader engine is running.
2.
Pull the needed length of wire rope.
Leave at least three rounds on the drum.
Release the auxiliary hydraulics control
lever to its neutral position.
If the drum unwinds too easily, or is too
tight, adjust the control brake. See page
Pull out only as much wire rope as is necessary. Avoid leaving the wire rope on the
ground to keep it clean.
Do not unwind the reel completely. Leave at least three rounds of wire on the reel. This
will reduce load from the fixing point of wire rope on the drum.
