Inspections, maintenance and service
It is recommended to empty the bucket completely right after using it. Do not store the bucket directly against
the ground; place it on blocks of wood or on a pallet, for example. Leave the attachment to a position where
water will not stay in the attachment.
A pressure washer and mild detergent can be used for cleaning the bucket. Do not use strong solvents or
spray directly at the labels on the attachment. Before longer storage periods touch up the paint where needed
to prevent rust damage.
7.3
Lubrication
There are a total of 7 lubricating points
on the machine. 3 are located at the
bearings of the belt and 4 at the hinged
discharge hatches.
Appropriate
lubrication
interval
depends heavily on use and operating
conditions. Lubricant must be added to
bearings at least after every 10 hours
of use. Adequate lubrication must be
ensured, and if the bearings are dirty,
lubricant must be added; added
lubricant will push out dirt.
The discharge hatch hinges should be
lubricated about twice per year, or
depending on use.
Clean the end of the nipple before
greasing and add only a small amount
of grease at a time. All lubrication
nipples are standard R1/8" nipples.
Replace any damaged nipples.
7.4
Adjusting conveyor
In case of increased slack of the conveyor, or
increased noise and rattling, check the tensioning of
the conveyor.
Tighten the conveyor by loosening the four retaining
bolts of the bearing first, then adjust with adjustment
screw. The conveyor must not be tightened by
force, some play must be allowed for its smooth
operation. Excessive tightening will cause quick
wearing of the conveyor and its pulleys.
Make sure that both sides are adjusted to the same
setting. Incorrect alignment of the conveyor can
cause damage or cause the belt to wear quickly.
Tighten
the
bearings
before
operating
the
dispenser. Check tensioning after tightening to
ensure correct alignment and operation.
