A trigger is activated when a signal crosses set thresholds. Trigger points can also 
be set manually as the user views a waveform.   

When  the  oscilloscope  is  capturing  the  signal,  tap  the  left  column  of  the 

Trigger

 

button to activate the trigger function. A

 trigger point

 displays as

 

a blue point.
