Vortex Quad PCI Sound Card User’s Guide

Installing the Windows NT 4.0 Drivers

Windows NT 4.0 does not automatically detect when you add new hardware to your system—you must install 
the Vortex hardware drivers manually.

Note:

Service Pack 4 or later is required.

1.

Insert the Vortex Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.

2.

Choose 

Settings

 from the 

Start

 menu, then choose 

Control Panel

.

The Control Panel window opens.

3.

Double-click the 

Multimedia

 icon.

The Multimedia Properties dialog displays.
