Insert the Vortex sound card firmly into
the empty PCI slot.
Carefully press it evenly and snugly into
the slot.
If you don’t know which slot is a PCI slot,
refer to the documentation that came with
your computer. Look for the explanation
in the section (or manual) that describes
your motherboard.

Secure the card to the PC chassis with a
mounting screw.
7.
If you have a CD-ROM drive, connect the
CD-ROM cable to the connector labeled
CD IN
on your Vortex sound card.
Typically this is a black connector along
the top edge of the card.
