Q: The subwoofer has 2 RCA inputs (LFE and R), but my surround pre-amp only has a
subwoofer output. Is it OK to leave an entrance open?
A: Yes, that is not a problem. You can, however, double the pre-amp signal with a Y-splitter and
feed it into both RCA inputs of the subwoofer. The bass reproduction then doubles as a result
Q: My surround pre-amp has both a cinch and XLR output. Which one should I use?
A: If the cable length between the preamplifier and subwoofer is more than 5m, or if you hear
interference from the subwoofer with cinch cable connection, you should use a balanced XLR
cable.
