Location Settings
Your Sprint PCS Vision Phone is equipped with a Location feature for
use in connection with location-based services that may be available
in the future.
The Location feature allows the network to detect your position.
Turning Location off will hide your location from everyone
except 911.
Note:
Even if the Location feature is enabled, no service may use your location
without your expressed permission.
To enable your phone’s Location feature:
1.
To access the main menu, press (
Menu
).
2.
Select
Settings
( ).
3.
Select
Location
( ).
4.
Read the message then press .
5.
Select
On
or
Off
with the Navigation Key.
Off
:
Your location will be hidden from the network and all
applications except 911.
On
:
Your location is now available to the network.
6.
To save your setting, press (
OK
).
When the Location feature is on, you phone’s standby screen will
display the
icon. When the Location feature is off, the icon
will be displayed.
