TREBLE CONTROL

To adjust the treble level, first select the Treble mode by pressing
the Select button

so that the level number above the “TRE”

indication is flashing. Within 5 seconds of choosing the Treble
mode, press the

+

or

side of the button of the Level control

to

adjust the treble response as desired. The treble level will be
shown on the display panel from a minimum of

7 to a maximum

of 7 (0 is flat response). The display will automatically return to
the normal indication 5 seconds after the last adjustment or when
another function is activated.

LEFT/RIGHT BALANCE CONTROL

To adjust the left-right speaker balance, first select the Balance
mode by pressing the Select button

so that the “BAL” indication

appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the
Balance mode, press the

+

side of the button of the Level Control

to adjust the stereo balance to the left channel speakers or
the

side of the button to adjust it to the right channel speakers.

When the volume level between the right and left channels is equal,
“0

L R

0” will be shown on the display panel. Adjusting the balance

toward the right will increase the number on the right side of the

display to a maximum of “0

L

R

9” (full right). Adjusting the

balance toward the left will increase the number on the left side of
the display to a maximum of “9

L R

0” (full left). The display will

automatically return to the priority indication 5 seconds after the
last adjustment or when another function is activated.

FRONT/REAR FADER CONTROL

To adjust the front-rear speaker balance, first select the Fader
mode by pressing the Select button

so that the “FAD” indication

appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the
Fader mode, press the

+

or the

side of the button of the Level

to adjust the front-rear speaker levels as desired. When

the level of the front and rear speakers is equal, “0

F R

0” will be

shown on the display panel. Adjusting the fader toward the front
speakers will increase the number on the left side of the display
to a maximum of “9

F R

0” (full front). Adjusting the fader toward the

rear speakers will increase the number on the right side of the
display to a maximum of “0

F R

9” (full rear). The display will auto-

matically return to the priority indication 5 seconds after the last
adjustment or when another function is activated.

LOUDNESS CONTOUR (LD)

Pressing this button for longer than 2 seconds will activate the
Loudness Contour as indicated by “LOUD” on the display panel.
When listening to music at low volume levels, this feature will
boost the bass and treble ranges to compensate for the
characteristics of human hearing. Pressing the button again for
longer than 2 seconds will deactivate the feature and “LOUD” will
disappear from the display panel.
