10.2 Setting up the Access Point Mode
The HUMBOLDT will act as an access point by
factory default, e.g. providing its own wireless
network that your iPhone/iPad may connect to.
This enables you to use the AN-Ultimates app
without any other routers or access points.
1. Make sure the wireless network of the
HUMBOLDT is activated (see section
'Network' on page 39).
2. Go to the wireless network settings of
your iPhone/iPad and look for the wireless
network 'AudionetHumboldt'.
3. Connect to the 'AudionetHumboldt' net-
work.
4. Start the AN-Ultimates app. It will connect
to the HUMBOLDT and present you a list
of wireless networks in your vicinity.
Choose the item '
Access Point
' from this
list.
5. The HUMBOLDT is now configured to
Access Point mode. You may use the AN-
Ultimates app now.
The configuration process is completed.
The HUMBOLDT will be activated in Access Point Mode automatically on the
next start-up.
10.3 Network trouble shooting
In case the HUMBOLDT is not able to connect to the selected wireless network,
the display of the HUMBOLDT will inform you about the problem. This might
occur most likely if a wrong passphrase is entered during the initial setup or if
