Note:

The digit to be pressed appears on the right side of the display
of the handset to be deregistered.

4. Confirm by pressing the

button.

5. Enter the base station PIN code using

the digit keys (default setting: 0000).

6. Press the

button to cancel the

process.

7. Confirm by pressing the

button.

8. An acoustic signal is issued after a few seconds in the case of

successful deregistration.

deregistered handset. The handset is now deregistered and
can no longer be used for internal and external calls.

10.1.5

Changing the PIN code

The registration and deregistration of handsets are protected against
unauthorised use by a PIN code. The PIN code can comprise of up to
eight digits. When delivered, the PIN code is “0000”. Proceed as follows
to change the PIN code:

1. Press the Menu button

2. Press the

button.

3. Enter the base station PIN code using

the digit keys (default setting: 0000).

Note:

If the old PIN code is not entered
correctly, the process is cancelled.

4. Confirm by pressing the

button.

5. Enter the new PIN code using the digit

keys and confirm the entry by pressing
the

button.
