Connection
When the handset is fully charged it must be registered to the main base unit.
1. Connect the mains adapter to the charger and an electrical wall socket.
2. Remove the battery cover from the back of the handset. Insert the batteries into
the handset ensuring correct battery polarity is observed. Replace the battery
cover.
3. Place the handset in the charger with the keypad buttons facing out, when the
handset is correctly positioned the indicator on the charger will illuminate. Charge
the handset batteries without interruption for 24 hours initially.
When the handset is fully charged it must be registered to the main base unit.
4. Press and hold the
j
button on the main base unit until the In-Use light starts
flashing. Registration mode will remain active for approximately 90 seconds.

6. Scroll to REGISTER using the

buttons. Press

7. Select a number for the base unit you wish to register too by pressing the
corresponding number button (

). Any flashing numbers are unavailable.
8. Enter the current PIN number (0000 when supplied). Press

9. When the handset has located the base unit an ID code will be displayed.
10. Confirm by pressing
0
.
11. If the registration is successful the handset number will be shown on the right
hands side of the display.
Battery charge indicator
Once the handset is correctly placed in the charger, a beep will be heard and the
battery charge indicator in the display will flash.
The battery indicator on the display will stop flashing when the handset is fully
charged.
The indicator on the base unit will stay lit as long as the handset is located in the
charger.
Making a call
Enter the required number and press
Q
. Press
l
to terminate the call.
Receiving a call
Wait for the handset to ring. Press
Q
to answer the call. Press
l
to terminate
the call.
