USE:
Neodymium magnets are extremely strong. Improper use can cause bruising and
hematoma. The high impact speed can generate magnet splinters that may cause
injuries. Magnets are not safe for children to use. Swallowing can result in seri-
ous medical problems. People carrying pacemakers are advised to avoid magnets
altogether. Direct contact with magnet components can cause allergic reactions.
These components may consist of ceramic and metallic material as well zinc, nickel
or synthetics.
EFFECT:
Please note that magnetic fields can delete information stored on data carriers such
as discs, credit cards with magnetic strips, audio and video cassettes. Electronic
and mechanical components as found in pacemakers, clocks, meters, compasses
or monitors can be disrupted or destroyed. To avoid damage, please ensure a safe
distance of at least half a meter.
