Using the product
Reset function
If the product does not work or other malfunctions occur, refer to “Charging the
battery” (p. 6) and connect the USB charging cable. Make sure the cable is
carrying power.
Disconnecting and then reconnecting the included USB charging cable will reset
the product and should resolve any problem you are experiencing. If the problem
persists, please contact your local Audio-Technica dealer.
Resetting the product does not initialize any settings, such as those for pairing and
volume.*
* The SBC priority connection (p. 16) is disconnected.
Auto power off function
The Bluetooth connection automatically turns off after 5 minutes if the product is not connected to a device that is turned on.
• The noise-cancelling function remains on. Be careful that the battery is not depleted.
Wired connection (playthrough function)
This product features a playthrough function that allows it to be used as a pair of traditional headphones, even if the
battery becomes depleted. Connect the connector plug of the included cable to the product’s connector jack, and then
connect the input plug to your portable player so you can use it. If the product has some remaining battery power,
you can use the noise-cancelling function even while you are using the playthrough function. You can turn the noise-
cancelling function on/off by the power switch.
Quick hear-through function
The volume is turned down to capture the ambient sound. It is useful when
listening to speaking voice, or announce in train quickly.
1. Press the sub switch button.
• When quick hear-through function is on, the function indicator flashes
in green.
2. Press the sub switch button again.
