General Information
1.1
Introduction
This manual contains information for the proper installation of the Audio
International, Inc. (AI) Audio Control Unit, Model No: AI-VC-101, -102.
Also included are physical and electrical characteristics of the unit.
1.2
Purpose of the Equipment
1.2.1 The AI-VC-101, -102 Video Converter provides automatic
conversion of all (SECAM, PAL, MESCAM, and NTSC) video input
standard into NTSC output of 3.58. The input signal is supplied via
BNC 1 connector. Output signal is directed out through BNC 2.
This unit is an active device that requires only power and ground
connections.
1.2.2 The AI-VC-101 and the AI-VC-102 are identical in operation.
However, the AI-VC-101 requires a lock tab (Positronic) connector
whereas
the
AI-VC-102
requires
a
female
screw
lock
(D-subminiature).

2.0 Application
2.1 Introduction
The AI-VC-101, -102 provides the needed signal to convert SECAM, PAL,
MESECAM, and NTSC standard video inputs into an NTSC standard
output signal of 3.58. The unit is an active unit that requires only power
and ground connections.
